A furious LBC caller spoke to Nick Ferrari about the Taliban retaking power in Afghanistan. The caller insisted Boris Johnson should resign when he recalls Parliament. He insisted Boris Johnson and US President Joe Biden should hang their heads in shame for failing to safely leave Afghanistan.
The caller said: “First of all, I never believed we should have gone in there in the first place.
“I don’t, if we are going to go into Afghanistan we need to do the job properly.
“I think Boris Johnson and Joe Biden should be hanging their heads in shame.
“Everyone has got it wrong, even down to the media, they have got it wrong.

“They are all broadcasting over the weekend that it is going to be weeks before Kabul.

“You can’t build a mass army within hours, they were waiting for their time and they have taken back their country as they see it.”
The caller then insisted Boris Johnson should announce his resignation over this issue.

He continued: “I think this reconvening of Government should be the time that Boris Johnson hands in his notice.
“He should be giving in his notice, he is Biden’s puppet and always has been, even with Donald Trump.
“I think the pair of them should be hanging their heads in shame for what they have got to go and do now.
“All of these poor people trying to leave the country, the British citizens, it is an absolute disgrace that we have got this so wrong.”

This comes as Joe Biden last week said he did not regret his decision to remove all US troops from Afghanistan despite concerns of Taliban insurgents reclaiming powers.
This has fueled further criticism of the Biden Administration with some calling the President to resign over this issue.
