A travel influencer who shares tips for flying and nabbing cheap deals unwittingly sparked a debate in a video of her lunch on a plane.
In a clip, TikTok user @mcmillansonthego says she likes to pack a whole meal to eat on a flight and asks "am I the only one?"
She then shows herself tucking into a whole fried fish, carefully wrapped up in tinfoil.
The video was watched hundreds of times and while people thought bringing your own food onboard was sensible, they joked the fish smell would put her on a "no-fly list".
One viewer joked: "Lord let her never be on one of my flights with fish she will meet the not-so-nice me.
"Girl, that is a huge flight no-no."
Another user commented: "Fried fish in an enclosed area? This could have caused an 'incident.'"
Someone else said: "There's nothing wrong with bringing on a whole meal but fish was not the best choice.
"We need to be considerate of other passengers."
The TikToker responded to the critics and tried to reassure them about the smell, commenting: "OK folks it wasn't out for long.
"I took this video for discussion's sake, I know fish has a smell therefore it wasn't out long to bother anyone."
This comes after a travel expert shared her hack that can get you a "whole row of seats" on a plane when you are booking for two people.
Unsurprisingly, it is most likely to work when you use the trick on row 13 which some people fear because it is supposedly an unlucky number and so are less likely to pick.
And a pilot said why it's unsafe to move seats during a flight because it affects the plane's weight distribution.
