Novak Djokovic split public opinion over his ongoing clash with the Australian Government over his visa application to enter the country ahead of the Australian Open. Australian TV presenters Rebecca Maddern and Mike Amor did not mince their words as they discussed their views on the situation while off-air. Footage of the exchange was widely shared on social media.
In the hot mic video, Ms Madders can be heard saying: “Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky, a***hole.
“Like, whatever way you look at it. It’s unfortunate that everybody else stuffed up around – to go out when you know you’re Covid positive.
“Well, I don’t think he was. I think that form is true.”
Mr Amor agreed: “He’s an a***hole.
JUST IN: Michael Fabricant just issued staggering defence of Boris leaving GB News host speechless
“I think…you’ve got bulls**t f****ng excuses, and then fell over his own f****ng lies.
“It’s just what happens. I think he’s going to get away with it. I think most fair-minded people would say he’s an a***hole.
“Did they do the right thing by him? They f***ed it up. That’s the problem.
Ms Madders added: “Oh, he is going to get away with it.”
