A former beauty queen daughter and a niece of a jailed gang leader have allegedly been kidnapped by one of Mexico's most powerful crime organisations.
Michelle Macías, 19, who is the daughter of Los Choneros leader José Macías and María Villavicencio, 21, were reportedly kidnapped under the orders of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
Shocking footage shows Macías struggling with an abductor before being pushed into a getaway vehicle outside of a beauty school in the port city of Manta on Wednesday, November 17.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the pair being moved from their kidnap car and placed into another vehicle.
It has been reported that the car was set alight by their abductors before they forced the young women into a speedboat and fled the scene.
The kidnappings were instructed from Nemesio 'El Mencho' Oseguera, the leader of Jalisco New Generation, according to Ecuadorian newspaper El Comercio.
It has been reported that the group currently have a $10 million bounty on their head from the U.S government.
The publication said the cartel admitted that they were behind the abductions and claimed it was the most influential Mexican criminal organisation operating in Ecuador, in a leaflet circulating around Guayaquil.
But most of the prison is under orders from the Macías' rival gang, Los Choneros.

It has been reported that the gang control five of the Litoral Penitentiary’s 12 pavilions and has links to the Sinaloa Cartel, an organisation co-founded by El Chapo.
This group is thought to be so dangerous that they were involved in a massacre of 68 prisoners at the jail last week.
The abductions of El Fito’s daughter and niece may have been done as an act of revenge for the murder of the teenage daughter of the Los Lobos gang's leader, who is known as ‘El Sargento', a source told news outlet Infobae.
It has been reported that the murder was reportedly instructed by El Fito and his associate Alexander 'Junior' Roldan.
However, it has not been confirmed whether Los Lobos is associated with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
The whereabouts of the two women remained unknown as of Friday afternoon.
