Boy, 8, dies after being attacked by Rottweilers in house

An eight-year-old boy who was attacked by two Rottweilers in a home on the outskirts of Dublin has died, police have said.

Gardai (Irish police) said the boy was set upon by the dogs in the Tallaght area on Sunday.

He died at Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin on Monday.

It comes after doctors battled to save his life after he was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries on Sunday.
