At least 167 flights into and out of Denver International Airport were delayed Thursday morning amid stormy weather, according to the FlightAware flight-tracking system.
There also were 17 flight cancelations, the FlightAware online site said shortly before 10 a.m.
Among airlines, Southwest had 149 flights delayed, followed by United with 46.
On Wednesday, 608 flights into and out of DIA were delayed, with 129 flights canceled, FlightAware found.
Thunderstorms hovered over Colorado’s Front Range Thursday for a second day, buffeting cities and the high plains with heavy rain, lightning and hail. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch in Colorado effective through Friday afternoon.
