Driver charged with vehicular homicide DUI for Arvada crash.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with vehicular homicide DUI for a two-vehicle traffic crash in Arvada.

Alan Russell Brazulis has also been charged with child abuse causing serious injury, vehicular assault and driving without a license among other charges, according to a Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office news release.

On July 26, Brazulis was driving a white Pontiac eastbound in the westbound lane of Oberon Road, according to the release. The Pontiac collided with a Toyota 4Runner and an Arvada police officer witnesses the crash.

Griffin Korosec, 41, a passenger in the Pontiac died at the scene. A family of four, two adults and two young children, in the 4Runner were injured.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brazulis on Sept. 18 and he was arrested in Grand Junction on Sept. 22, the release said. He is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $500,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
