Fancy living in one of the UK's cheapest flats currently on the market?
Well, for just £10,000 you can – but you'll have to live on a Scottish island with a population of fewer than 7,300 people.
The tiny one-bed flat, which is very much in the bracket of “doer upper”, can be found on the seafront at Rothesay, Isle of Bute, Argyll and Bute.

Located at 14 East Princes Street, the cheap property is in such a poor state that no mortgage firm would lend on it, and no viewings can be carried out.
It is also located above the Palace Bar and Zavaroni's Fish and Chicken Bar.
It does appear to have rotting single-glazed windows, a quick search on Google Maps.
But just think of the excellent seaside views you'll have from your newly-purchased rotting windows for such a low, low price.
Also, you won't have to go far to buy a new bed or to fit new carpets as there's a bed and carpet shop next door.
There's also several parking spaces outside, so you won't be left panicking about where to leave your car.

The less said about the inside the better – it is an absolute mess and would cost you more than you're shelling out for it to do it up to some kind of liveable stranded.
It does have a bathroom . . . just without walls.
Cash buyers can bid upwards of £10,000 on May 18 at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow during a special property auction.
A spokesman for Auction House Scotland said: “The property may not appeal to everyone, however with a price starting at just £10,000, it’s a hard deal for any property developer to turn down.

“The flat sits by the water at Rothesay bay; an ideal town centre location surrounded by various local amenities.
“A popular seaside resort, Rothesay is a pretty, traditional town that still retains many signs of its Victorian heritage through its architecture and is within easy reach of Bute’s stunning beaches.”
