Horrifying photos show dead puppies stuffed into tiny glass jars next to bins

Dead dogs have been found next to a rubbish bin collection point after being stuffed into tiny glass jars.

A woman spotted the glass jars in the city of Smolensk, in the Oblast region of western Russia.

The woman, who remained anonymous, said: “I was walking down Lavochkina street where there is a metal collection point.

“Near the rubbish bins, I noticed some strange looking glass jars.

“When I approached them I was shocked to see them filled with murky water and cubs inside.”

The woman said the jars were scattered as if someone had rapidly disposed of the lot of them.

The images show the puppies stuffed into jars with a pickle-like liquid.

It is not known if the authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Citizens were outraged by the horrible images shared online and swiftly reacted.

One said: “Those who did this are scum. They need to be put in those jars the same way.”

Another commented: “I have called on the authorities – please investigate this because it is so horrible and inhumane. People who did this should definitely be punished.”

And another said: “It’s not viruses that we need to be afraid of, but people. They are worse than any viruses and they’ll take us to the end of the world way faster.”

This comes as a German Shepherd tested positive for coronavirus making it the second dog to contract COVID-19, it has been claimed.

The pooch is likely to have contracted the virus from its owner in the Pok Fu Lam-area of Hong Kong, and not the other way around, according to TMZ.
