Man, 63, killed cat by having unnatural sex with it in childrens playground

A man had sex with a cat in a children's playground, killing the animal in the process.

Janting Anak Keling, 63, pleaded guilty to a charge of committing unnatural sex with a cat when he appeared at the Sessions Court in Malaysia today.

The alleged offence took place on April 16 at around 4.30am in a children's playground in the southern city of Skudai.

Keling was charged under Section 377 of Malaysia's Penal Code meaning that he could be jailed for up to 20 years, handed a hefty fine or even caned.

Deputy Public Prosecutor S Thiviya asked the court today not to set bail for Keling.

He added: "However, if the court wants to offer bail, we ask for a bail of RM15,000 (£2,700) with one surety and the accused must report to the nearest police station."

Keling pleaded with judge Fatimah Zahari to lower bail, explaining that he was now unemployed and had travelled from another Malaysian island to appear in court.

The accused said: "I just came to Johor Baru from Sarawak and am currently not working. I am staying with my daughter."

The judge eventually set Keling's bail at RM6,000 (£1,081) with the case set to continue on May 25.

This comes after a man was seen on CCTV having sex with a miniature horse three times in one night.

Santiago Victoria, 57 of Fellsmere, Florida was caught after the owner became suspicious upon finding bungee cords and ropes around the neck of the animal "even though she never placed any on it".

Catherine Engel then set up CCTV in the stables and, to her shock, saw a man trespass and "get behind the horse in a sexual manner", according to an arrest affidavit.

Victoria was eventually arrested on three felony burglary charges.
