‘Scary Spice called me a p****!’ WWE star clashes with Mel B at WWE show

WWE stars and fans in Manchester spiced up their lives as Spice Girls legend Mel B stopped by the show to mingle – and insult one of their top villains!

The pop superstar is no stranger to the wild side of entertainment after decades in the music industry.

But Scary Spice swapped the stage for the squared circle on Wednesday night, however, as a VIP guest at WWE’s live show at the AO Arena.

Vince McMahon’s empire have pulled out all the stops to entertain their fans across England during the lengthy tour – their second trip to the UK in the space of just a few weeks.

After dazzling packed crowds in Brighton, Sheffield, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham – and at London’s Wembley Arena – they stopped off in Manchester for the final date in the schedule.

And while fans got to see many of their favourite superstars like SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Scottish sensation Drew McIntyre, it was the megastar at ringside that also caught the eye.

The 46-year-old, WWE say, was taking in the live all-action thrills of one of their live events for the very first time, with her family and dog, Cookie, in tow.

She even ventured backstage to mix with some of the company’s big hitters – posing for pictures with Flair and Banks, as well as legend Jeff Hardy and Natalya.

In true Scary Spice style, though, Mel B wasn’t able to sit quietly for the show, clashing with WWE villain Sami Zayn.

Zayn Tweeted after his appearance – in a losing effort against Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a triple-threat bout for Ciampa’s NXT Championship that he’d been insulted by the 90s icon.

“Scary Spice just called me a p*ssy,” he alleged, before Mel B replied defiantly: “Damn right! Because you were one.”

In some of the night’s other action, Flair defeated Banks in the main event, and Intercontinental champ Shinsuke Nakamura overcome Jinder Mahal.

WWE’s stars now head back from the UK to continue the build-up to their next major event, Survivor Series. The annual spectacular airs on Sunday, 21 November.
