A topless Extinction Rebellion protester has hit back at Boris Johnson's UK climate targets.

The government has pledged ahead of the Cop26 climate talks in Glasgow, that the UK will become carbon neutral by 2050.

The plan as to how Britain will reach net zero however has been slammed for not outlining enough policies or investment to achieve it.

OnlyFans star Laura Amherst, 31, has accused the Prime Minister of not addressing the ''elephant in the room" of animal farming.

The eco-warrior has shared on Instagram the entirety of a letter she claims to have penned to Boris Johnson about his government's strategy.

Laura who previously told the Daily Star that she would love to be Britain's first topless leader, captioned the post: "My open letter to @borisjohnsonuk in regards to the climate crisis. Also why is Boris not talking about the (elephant) in the room – which is net zero – CANNOT EVEN BE ACHIEVED whilst we still have large scale animal agriculture!"

She ended the post by thanking Extinction Rebellion and recommending people watched the Kate Winslet narrated documentary, Eating Our Way To Extinction.

In the letter itself, Laura spoke to Mr Johnson as one parent to another, in the hope her concerns would "deeply resonate" with the dad.

The final year politics student wrote: "I do not believe the targets you are setting for this country to reduce emissions and to tackle this climate emergency are good enough."

After quoting research stating just how serious the situation is, Laura concluded the letter saying: "Boris we cannot afford not to act on this. My child's future, your child's future, and all of the children of the world's future depends on us getting this right and doing what has to be done."

She added: "My demand is this: Boris; address these demands and set realistic targets and influence other major contributors to greenhouse emissions to do the same."
