Tragic YouTuber Sir Kipsta dies aged 17 after 7-hour heart surgery

YouTube star Sir Kipsta has died aged just 17 following a seven-hour heart operation.

Real name Alex Dragomir, the Man United super-fan's family have paid tribute to their 'angel' as they confirmed the tragic news.

Hours before the operation, Alex wrote on Twitter: "Going in for a life-saving procedure.

"If it don't work, then it's been a great time people.

"Thank you for all you've done for me."

Alex's sister then confirmed the tragic news of his death as she wrote: "Helllo , as you all might already know my brother passed away today.

"He had a very hard operation which lasted 7 hours but his heart couldn’t take it anymore, he was too weak to survive.

"Heaven gained another angel.

"He was my rock, my everything."

The popular YouTuber had nearly 15,000 subscribers on YouTube where he shared his hospital journey and would regularly talk about football.

His last video, uploaded four days before his tragic death, saw him open 100 packs of Panini Premier League stickers from his hospital ward.
