A young couple have died suddenly as police investigate their “unexplained” deaths.
Sam Roberts, 22, and Lauren Hetherington, 23, were found deceased at a property on Millglen Road, Ardrossan, Scotland, on Monday.
Police attended the property to discover the tragic deaths of the couple and have launched an investigation as tributes are made on social media, reports the Daily Record.
The incident has caused shock to both friends and family with many calling the news “upsetting” and describing Lauren as a “beautiful soul”.
Kirsty Mckenna said: "What a sad morning woke up to some extremely upsetting news RIP Sam Roberts and his girlfriend as well.
"Love to all the family's thoughts and prayers are with the Roberts family and the girlfriends."
Claire Bevan said: “RIP Lauren beautiful soul gone far too soon.”
Yvonne Grayhurst also said: “RIP Lauren, can’t believe the news today, gone far too soon.”

According to The Scottish Sun, the couple are believed to have been dating for two years from information on Sam’s Facebook page.
Police say they are treating the sudden deaths of the couple as “unexplained” but it is not thought to be suspicious.
No further information regarding the deaths of the couple has been made available.
The investigation continues and a full report on the incident will be provided to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that around 3pm on Monday, 22 November, officers were called to a property on Millglen Road, Ardrossan, following the sudden deaths of a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.
"The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
