William and Charles concerned about revelations in Harry’s book, source claims

Prince Wiliam and Prince Charles are reportedly “nervous” about Prince Harry’s upcoming book, with other royals “shaken up”.

The Duke of Sussexhas reportedly been working with Pulitzer-winning ghostwriter J. R. Moehringeron a new memoir, with the book set to hit shelves by late 2022.

The first draft of the manuscript is now almost completely written before a deadline in October, according toPage Six.

However, senior royals are not thought to be thrilled by the prospect.

A source told US Weekly: “The Royal Family is shaken up about the book.”

Charles and William are “particularly concerned about what Harry will reveal”, it is claimed.

They reportedly feel his recent criticisms were “bad enough” already.

The insider added: “They haven’t received a copy yet and don’t know what to expect. It’s making them nervous.”

Publisher Random House confirmed they had teamed up with Harry on Twitter, with the proceeds set to go to charity.

The book is expected to cover Harry’s life from his childhood to the present day.

After the news broke, he confirmed in a statement: "I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

"I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

"I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Earlier this month, the Queenwas encouraged to arrange a baptism for Harry andMeghan Markle’sdaughter to help ease royal tensions.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomedLilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsorinto the world last month, with senior royals delighted by the news.

It is not yet clear where the couple plan to baptise their child, though some commentators believe it may be carried out in California.

Royal expert Marlene Koenig, who runsroyalmusings, believes a ceremony in the UK would unite the family.

She told the Daily Star: “There arereports that Harry might come back in Septemberfor anotherDianaevent.

“If I were arranging things this would be the time where the Queen would say ‘let’s do the baptism, bring Lilibet over’.

“Have the immediate family, use that time. Spend a little time together, and that includes everyone.

“Sit down and talk and do what they need to do.”

However, Marlene isn't convinced "there will be one", and they may "have just done it privately".
