Although the weather hasn\u2019t really delivered over the August bank holiday, it\u2019s still a lovely time to get out on a bracing coastal walk. A beautiful route in Cornwall has been named one of the country\u2019s best.<\/p>\n
The expert team of walkers at Fitflop have shared the UK\u2019s best coastal walks, ideal for families looking to get out and exercise at the end of the summer holidays.<\/p>\n
According to the team, one of England\u2019s prettiest coastal routes is a 30 mile trek from Perranporth to St Ives, along the Cornwall Atlantic Coast.<\/p>\n
A Fitflop spokesperson said: \u201cA great choice for wildlife lovers, this trail takes in rugged cliff tops and mining landscapes, with the chance to see seals, sunfish and basking sharks below, or guillemots and razorbills above.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom Portreath you\u2019ll pass Ralph\u2019s Cupboard, a cove favoured by smugglers to hide their loot, the rolling sand dunes at Gwithian and Navax Point where the seals gather, cross Hayle\u2019s 100-year-old swing bridge and finish off in the postcard-perfect town of St Ives – the perfect spot for an ice cream!\u201d<\/p>\n

The town is an arty hotspot and is home to Tate St Ives.<\/p>\n The town\u2019s harbour beach is just steps from its shops and restaurants, making it the perfect spot to sit and eat an ice-cream or fish and chips.<\/p>\n A tourist wrote on Tripadvisor: \u201cThe harbour beach is so pretty, there is so much to do from walks, beach, boat hire, seal watching.
