The school summer holidays may have ended but the UK has been hit by blazing weather as the mercury has skyrocked to above 30C across Britain.<\/p>\n
However, while many are planning to bask in the sunny weather over the weekend, according the BBC, the late summer will come to an end as soon as Monday.<\/p>\n
The forecast says temperatures in London will dip to 27C on Monday and then 23C on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Some places may even be as cold as 11C, but most of the country will enjoy \u201csunny intervals with a gentle breeze.\u201d<\/p>\n
READ MORE: <\/strong> ‘I’m a sleep expert and here are four reasons you shouldn’t run a fan all night’<\/strong><\/p>\n Elsewhere in the country there\u2019s a different outlook.<\/p>\n In York, the outlook for the next five days is predicted to be consistently under 30C – with a high of 28C on Saturday and a low of 15C.<\/p>\n On Monday the temperature in York is set to be 25C and it\u2019s also the first time there is predicted to be less summery climes with a prediction of \u201cthundery showers and a gentle breeze.\u201d<\/p>\n Jim Dale, senior meteorologist for British Weather and author of Weather or Not? spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cWe are seeing the peak today or tomorrow of 33C. It might get a bit of a replay tomorrow.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s going to last until the weekend but it\u2019s then going to start dipping a little bit but it will still feel warm and humid with it.
