A traumatised victim ofa brutal dog attack in Birmingham<\/u>over the weekend has spoken out about the incident. <\/p>\n
Astonishing footage of the incident was captured by passengers on a nearby bus, who caught the dog as it followed a man desperately trying to get away.<\/p>\n
Two men and an 11-year-old girl were hurt in the attack in Bordesley Green on Saturday (September 9) afternoon.<\/p>\n

The dog got free from its owner in the nightmare incident after it \u201cbroke free from its collar," West Midlands Police said.<\/p>\n
Many tried to help the people the dog attacked, while others fled to escape the rampage.<\/p>\n

In one particularly upsetting part of the footage, the girl can be seen being dragged to the floor and savaged on the ground.<\/p>\n
The girl and two men were hospitalised.<\/p>\n
Home Secretary Suella Braverman has since joined calls to ban the breed.<\/p>\n
One of the people attacked was Yousef Ahadzai, who works at the Euro Carwash next to the Texaco petrol station where the attack took place.<\/p>\n

Speaking in Pashto translated by a friend Yousef said: "I was scared, the dog bit me. The dog was out of control, it went crazy.<\/p>\n
"I saw the girl be attacked, she was bitten. I saw the dog and I came out. I was really scared."<\/p>\n
His friend, who chose to remain anonymous, said that Yousef would be going to a GP to check he hadn\u2019t got an infection from the bite from the "crazy" dog. <\/p>\n
A new statement was issued today (September 11) by West Midlands Police, which said: "We are continuing to investigate after three people were injured when a dog broke free from its collar in Bordesley Green on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe crossbreed Bully XL\/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy chased an 11-year-old girl and she sustained serious injuries to her shoulder and forearms. She was treated in hospital and is now recovering at home.<\/p>\n

"Several people rushed to her aid and as the dog broke free from its owner a second time.<\/p>\n
\u201cA 20-year-old man was chased across a garage forecourt and was taken to hospital with bites to his shoulder and forearm, along with cuts and bruises from being dragged across the floor.\u201d<\/p>\n
The force added: "Another man also suffered injuries and presented himself at hospital for treatment. We wish them a speedy recovery."<\/p>\n
The force noted that the dog remained in secure kennels and the owners of the hound had been spoken to. <\/p>\n
