Russian President Vladimir Putin raised concerns over his health after one of his hands appeared particularly veiny as he spoke to reporters after meeting Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.<\/p>\n
Social media users were quick to comment on the footage.<\/p>\n
One X user said: “V prominent blood vessels\/veins? Seems perhaps an odd colour?”<\/p>\n
Another one added: “Looks like scarring from intravenous injections, probably cancer treatment.”<\/p>\n
But someone else pointed out: “As you get older, your skin gets thinner and loses elasticity, making your veins more visible. Also, as you age, the valves in your veins weaken. This can cause blood to pool in your veins for a longer period of time. This enlarges the vein.”<\/p>\n

The post, accompanied by a picture of Putin, was made by “Z-blogger” Pozdnyakov, and reads: “God, don’t you leave us. More info<\/p>\n Anton Gerashchenko, advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, posted on X (formerly Twitter), asking: “What is going on?”<\/p>\n Others joined in in speculating about the Russian leader’s health.<\/p>\n X user RAVEN wrote: “Probably nothing, but if he’s sick and his time is nearing the end, then it actually makes perfect sense to get rid of Prigozjin. He would most certainly try to take over if this is the case.”<\/p>\n X user Michael Beamish added: “We can only pray this is the case!”<\/p>\n
