BMW has launched the first all-electric version of the X1 in India. The BMW iX1 is available in a single xDrive30 M Sport variant priced at Rs 66.90 lakh (ex-showroom).<\/p>\n
The BMW iX1 is based on the third-generation X1. In terms of design, it looks similar to the ICE version. The EV features an upright front fascia with an almost square BMW kidney grille that is flanked by Adaptive LED headlights. The SUV gets L-shaped LED tail lights and a roof spoiler at the rear and rides on 18-inch M light alloy wheels.<\/p>\n
Inside, the iX1 gets a clean dashboard with Aluminium Mesheffect trim, an M Anthracite headliner and an M Sport leather steering wheel. It is equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system running BMW’s iDrive 8.5 operating system, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, 2-zone automatic climate control, Active Seats, a sunroof, wireless charging and ambient lighting.<\/p>\n
The iX1 uses a dual-motor setup with a combined output of 313 BHP and 494 Nm. BMW claims a 0-100 km\/h time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 180 km\/h.<\/p>\n
The iX1 is powered by a 66.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is said to offer a range of 417-440 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 10%-80% in 29 minutes using a 130 kW DC charger and in 6.3 hours using an 11 kW AC charger.<\/p>\n
The BMW iX1 is equipped with Adaptive M Suspension and an all-wheel drive system featuring electronically controlled ‘Automatic Differential Brakes\/Locks’ (ADB-X), and safety features like DTC, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, DSC, ABS, Cornering Brake Control, Lane Departure Warning, Cruise Control with Braking Function, Pedestrian protection among others.<\/p>\n
The BMW iX1 is available with a complementary 11 kW BMW Wallbox charger. The electric SUV comes with a 2-year \/ unlimited km warranty. The batteries are covered by a warranty of 8 years \/ 1,60,000 km.<\/p>\n
