Lee Anderson praised a “hero” who helped divert a “nuisance” at the Conservative Party conference this week.

The Conservative deputy chairman took to social media to post a picture of a man he named “Brave Bruce”, he said had helped eject an unwanted guest from a conference event.

Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, the MP and GB News presenter shared a snap of himself with Bruce.

The two stood arm-in-arm with raised fists and beamed at the camera, with Mr Anderson seen sporting a glittering gold watch.

In a brief caption, he said Bruce – whose second name was not shared – was responsible for “physically ejecting” pro-EU activist Steve Bray from an event he interrupted earlier this week.
