Netanyahu has been serving as prime minister since December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Gaza City has been struck by airstrikes today. It is believed the attack was retaliation for the Hamas fighters crossing the border and attacking Israeli cities on Saturday (October 7). <\/p>\n<p>In a video statement Monday, Israel&apos;s foreign minister Eli Cohen warned Hamas against harming any of the hostages who were taken from Israel and being held in Gaza. This war crime will not be forgiven\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>More than 670 people were killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza and more than 3,700 others were wounded, its health ministry has said. While at least 900 people have been killed in Hamas attacks on Israel, Israeli media have reported.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli rescue service Zaka said more than 100 bodies have been recovered from a small farming community that was the scene of a hostage standoff during Hamas\u2019 attack.
