The owners were \u201cdressed on-point\u201d and what warms the heart is the effort that they make, to bring that whole classic and vintage ambience alive.<\/h2>\n

This was the last bit of our recent trip. We had gone along to Triberg in the Black Forest because we wanted to visit the pretty little town and buy a Cuckoo Clock as a gift from there for a family member.<\/p>\n

We based ourselves in Baden-Baden which used to be a famous and fashionable Spa town in the 1800\u2019s and 1900\u2019s. Like Bath in England and Spa in Belgium. Today it is a town largely composed of well-to-do, retired folk who live there and the tourists\/ travellers who form the floating population.<\/p>\n

Anyway, when we were there, there was a classic car gathering and we got to see and enjoy quite a few of those beauties just walking about and sitting by the sidewalk in a cafe!<\/p>\n

There are a number of such Classic Car events year-round, in Baden-Baden.<\/p>\n

Truly, some of the cars we saw there, were simply gorgeous classics. The owners were \u201cdressed on-point\u201d and what warms the heart is the effort that they make, to bring that whole classic and vintage ambience alive.<\/p>\n

The cars ranged from a Fiat Balilla to an MG TC, a lovely Lancia, and the Mighty Mercedes BMW and Porsche! We didn\u2019t catch the whole event, but what we caught, is here!<\/p>\n

Enjoy the view! There are only a few photos, but they are a feast for the eyes.<\/p>\n
