A young boy mistook a street art mural of John Lennon for the beloved Harry Potter, leaving his dad in stitches.

The amusing encounter was captured on video and shared on TikTok, quickly amassing millions of views and a flood of comments from viewers.

The hilarious incident took place on a street in Mexicali, Mexico, as the father and son were driving past a mural featuring the iconic figure of the legendary Beatle.

The boy, clearly in the throes of excitement, pointed at the mural and enthusiastically exclaimed: “There he is!”

However, his father appeared puzzled and asked him to repeat himself, clearly not comprehending the reference.

As they continued to drive past the mural adorned with Lennon in his signature round glasses, the boy insisted that it was none other than Potter, the well-known wizard from the novels by J.K. Rowling.

His dad, now intrigued and entertained by his son’s mistake, slowed down the car to take a closer look.

Upon closer inspection, he realized that his son had confused the British music legend with the fictional character from the world of magic.

With a hearty chuckle, the dad corrected his son, saying: “Ah, The Beatles!”
