Blizzard Beach Water Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will reopen on Nov. 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the same time, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will close for refurbishment.<\/p>\n
No changes to Blizzard Beach’s attractions are expected but there will be new food options: s’mores and banana split churros at Arctic Expeditions, and chicken wings coated with honey sriracha or garlic parmesan at Warming Hut.<\/p>\n
During the holidays, Santa will appear in the park wearing a tropical outfit. Special treats like peppermint shakes will be available.<\/p>\n
Disney heats the water at the park in colder months.<\/p>\n
Disney also launched a water park seasonal pass, which enables guests to visit as often as they want until May 24.<\/p>\n
The pass is $79 plus tax.\u00a0The seasonal pass enables guests to visit whichever of Disney’s water parks is open. There are no blackout dates and parking is free.<\/span><\/p>\n
