A pretty little European city has been named as one of the best places to live for over 60s.<\/p>\n

Forbes Magazine included Malaga on its list of the best cities in the world to live after retirement.<\/p>\n

The seaside city, which was the birthplace of Picasso, has a sizeable expat community and is popular among holidaymakers.<\/p>\n

Sat on the Costa del Sol, Malaga enjoys sunshine for around 300 days a year and an average temperature in the summer of 30C.<\/p>\n

Property reportedly has an average buying price per square metre of \u20ac2,375 and a rented one-bed flat in the town centre being around \u20ac870pcm.<\/p>\n

The cities public transport system has been praised, with 50 bus lines, and its many cycle tracks. It is also very flat, making it easy to travel by foot, with many areas being pedestrianised.<\/p>\n

Malaga has lots of things to visit including fortified palace Alcazaba, the Cathedral, Museo Picasso, hiking path El Caminito del Ray, Castillo de Gibralfaro, shopping street La Calle Larios and the Roman Theatre.<\/p>\n

There is also a number of beaches to enjoy such as Puerto Banus, Malgueta, El Palo, Raven Rock, Burriana, Monsul and Cantarrijan.<\/p>\n
