After the ride they driver was going to charge them \u00a3205<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/09\/76790827-12648283-The_trio_were_travelling_from_Sexy_Fish_to_Sketch_in_London_s_We-m-3_1697790505727.jpg\" height=\"445\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The tourists were travelling from Sexy Fish to Sketch and admitted they could&#8217;ve walked for seven minutes but opted for the fun ride instead because it was raining\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the six-second clip, Nicole can be heard telling the driver &#8216;no, that&#8217;s crazy&#8217; and refused to pay such an exorbitant amount. She then looks over at the camera in shock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Instead she bargained the cost down to $60 USD (\u00a349).<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to MailOnline, Nicole said she&#8217;s been overcharged by a pedicab driver before and claims she asked about the price before jumping in.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As we were getting in I said &#8220;is this going to be more than $100?&#8221; and he said no.\u00a0We took the ride and when we got out, he said it was going to be $250 (\u00a3205). We were obviously like, no way, that is insane,&#8217; she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I had a feeling we were going to be scammed before getting in. But there is way too much going on in the world to care about $60.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The following day the friends saw the same driver near Big Ben and didn&#8217;t mind that he tried to overcharge them the night before.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He seemed like a nice guy that first night and we were on such a high being on our little trip in London that we didn&#8217;t care enough for there to be any hard feelings,&#8217; Nicole said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76744151-12648283-x-a-6_1697786459799.jpg\" height=\"466\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Pedicabs, also known as rickshaws, are treated in the same way as a horse and carriage under a Victorian law and therefore do not require regulation<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76744163-12648283-In_the_six_second_clip_Nicole_can_be_heard_telling_the_driver_no-a-2_1697786458589.jpg\" height=\"1069\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>In the six-second clip, Nicole can be heard telling the driver &#8216;no, that&#8217;s crazy&#8217; and refused to pay such an exorbitant amount.
