Huge discounts on new cars seem to be in-fashion at the moment, and Audi is offering some great reductions across its range – from £20k off a brand new Q8, to a keenly priced A3 S-line lease deal. Now it’s the turn of the electric Audi Q4 e-tron.

The Audi Q4 e-tron is one of the German manufacturer’s biggest sellers, behind the A3 hatchback, and it’s not hard to see why. We were suitably impressed with its high levels of refinement, excellent build quality, decent equipment levels, as well as its range and rapid charging abilities. This makes the Q4 e-tron perfectly placed for Audi’s mainstream EV charge, as well as enticing potential buyers away from rivals like the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX1 and iX3, Volvo XC40 Recharge and recently updated Mercedes EQA.

The deal we’re highlighting here is available for Audi itself, meaning you’ll be dealing with your nearest or chosen Audi dealership directly. It comes with a 48-month duration and a decent 10,000-mile per year allowance. Audi is offering a £5,000 deposit contribution in addition to a £1,500 saving. To qualify, you’ll need to buy on PCP with Audi finance at 6.9% APR. On-the-road price (including metallic paint, deposit contributions and savings) is £49,825, or £52,832.05 after interest and charges.

The Q4 Sport 40 e-tron is our pick-of-the-range and comes with Audi’s Virtual Cockpit instrument display, a 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in sat-nav, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. There’s 19-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, heated front seats, too, as well as three-zone climate control and an automatic tailgate.

The Q4 e-tron is only available with a 82kWh battery (77kWh usable), meaning this particular model can achieve 310-322 miles between charges, although it achieved an estimated 323 miles around town and 262 miles on faster roads from a single charge in our twin test against a Mercedes EQA. Performance is modest by electric SUV standards, with 201bhp and 310Nm of torque sent to the rear wheels, reaching 62mph from rest in 8.5 seconds.

As with all our deals of the day, this is a great deal on a car we’re happy to recommend and is chosen as a deal of the day by our team of independent experts. Terms and conditions will always apply, deals are subject to availability and prices are subject to change.
