It has now been confirmed that five people have been killed, three of whom are from the same family.<\/p>\n<p>The unnamed people are a 30-year-old man, his 44-year-old partner and their daughter who was aged just nine. Another man, 38, and his 11-year-old son have also been killed, while that man&apos;s wife and second son were injured and are currently in hospital.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: ApeFest revellers suffer burnt eyes and could go blind from dodgy UV lights<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>For more crime news, click here.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31371934.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Australia-Car-Accident-23310067161475.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>An 11-month-old baby boy has also been injured, and is being treated in hospital \u2013 the 43-year-old mother is not thought to be injured.<\/p>\n<p>Rhonda White, a Daylesford resident who saw the scenes unfold, said: \u201cThere were bodies everywhere, it was horrifying. I watched the whole crash. The car went up into the sky. I thought it was just dust. It&apos;s only now I know it was bodies.&quot; Locals said the pub was busy all weekend and the courtyard was &apos;packed&apos; at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>And one witness claimed the care &quot;accelerated like a rocket&quot;, mounting the curb and slamming staight into the picnic tables at the pub&apos;s front area. He is expected to remain in hospital overnight Monday and it\u2019s anticipated he will be interviewed on Tuesday.
