<\/p>\nRoyal kids George, Charlotte and Louis don\u2019t get to sit at the grownups' table during Christmas, according to a former chef at Buckingham Palace. <\/p>\n
It seems that being a royal still comes with rules, with the youngest members of the core Windsor outfit still forced to dine at a separate table to cram down their turkey supper. This comes according to chef Darren McGrady, who had 15 years serving as a cook for the Royal Family.<\/p>\n
He noted that the kids will get their seats at the table when they have mastered the art of polite conversation. This comes according to the Mirror. <\/p>\n

And, in another surprising admission, he noted that the royal nannies also have the task of "educating their palates". He said: "The royal nursery wasn't just for educating the minds of the young royals but educating their palates, too. Nanny always had control of the menu and made sure they ate balanced meals that included not only lots of healthy vegetables but introduced them to new grown-up dishes too."<\/p>\n

He also noted that in the past it could be difficult to get them to eat their vegetables \u2013 but found a way to make sure they were getting the right nutrients by hiding them in sweet treats like cakes. He also noted that Princess Diana used to take Princes Harry and Willian for the odd McDonald\u2019s as a treat and that William and Kate still have a cheeky one from time to time.<\/p>\n
The royal kids are also reportedly not allowed to be called as such by their nanny. Author Louise Heren recently revealed to the Mirror that the word "kids" is strictly forbidden at the famous Norland College in Bath, where the royal kids' nanny trained. <\/p>\n

"Instead, the little royals should always be referred to as children or by their names." Louise said: "The word kid is banned. It's a mark of respect for the children as individuals."<\/p>\n
