The funeral of an alleged Chilean drug dealer took a strange turn after a stripper began dancing on his coffin.

A shooting in the Chilean city of Santiago on November 22 claimed the life of Carlos Parra, 22, but his death kicked off a chain of days spent in a wild blend of partying and mourning in front of his home in the town of San Ramón. It was live broadcast on Instagram, with the footage capturing an unusual selection of incidents you might not expect.

Amidst the madness were fireworks, and people shooting guns into the sky as part of the raucous five-day mourn-fest. Perhaps the pick of the party’s weirdness, however, came from a female dancer showcasing her moves atop the dead man’s coffin.

As topless blokes watched her routine, one pressed the urn containing Carlos’s ashes into her buttocks while she leant over a coffin. The man then placed the urn between her breasts as she continued to dance, before the footage even saw her get hold of a firearm, place it between her breasts and even pop it on her backside while another woman cheered her on.

The unusual party is reported to have been carried out in a bid by Carlos’ family to keep his spirit alive, according to MailOnline. The street was blocked by a tent with live music performed in front of the house – a move that led the local mayor, Gustavo Toro, to say he nor his administration had not approved the party. In the past, he is understood to have received threats from local gangs.

“One, I don't dialogue with drug traffickers, and two, I will never authorize something like that,” he said. On Wednesday (November 29) authorities arrived and shut the unofficial event down within the space of half an hour.
