Rainfall is expected elsewhere in the country, including in the south of England and parts of Wales. <\/p>\n<p>But a larger spate of snowfall is expected on Wednesday evening (December 6). Meanwhile parts of England including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield will also see bouts of hail, weather maps showed.<\/p>\n<p>The snow and ice is expected to make way for rain by Thursday morning (December 7). More snow and hail is expected in Scotland on Thursday and Friday, while the rest of the country will continue to see rain.<\/p>\n<p>The Met Office said many of the downpours would be fairly light, however. It said on its website: &quot;Frost and fog clearing then bright spells on Wednesday.
