A Ukrainian councillor threw hand grenades into a meeting on Friday injuring 26, national police said Friday.<\/p>\n
The incident reportedly took place at the village council of Keretsky in western Ukraine on Friday morning, according to police.<\/p>\n
Shocking footage posted to Telegram shows a man dressed in black calmly walking into the meeting during a heated debate.<\/p>\n
He then pulls out three hand grenades from his pockets before pulling the pins and throwing them on the floor triggering explosions in the packed room.<\/p>\n
Police said: “As a result, 26 people were wounded, six of whom are in grave condition.”<\/p>\n
Initially, police said the attacker had died in the blasts but later clarified that doctors were attempting to resuscitate him.<\/p>\n
It’s unclear what the man’s motives were for throwing the grenades.<\/p>\n
