An TikTok user has impressed motorists by revealing a hidden feature she found on her Ford Fiesta that makes public parking a little less stressful.
@ihatetiktokcringie posts a variety of short videos to the social media platform, including the occasional clip related to cars.
In one of their most popular videos, @ihatetiktokcringie revealed that the Fiesta’s dashboard has a hidden feature that allows drivers to store their parking ticket.
She said: “So guys, guess what I just found in my Ford Fiesta? So, when you have a car park ticket and you want to put it somewhere so you can get it out and put it in the machine, literally there are two slots here, and you can store it in there.
“Like, what? Look guys, I’m at the [ticket] machine, I can just take it out and put it in [the machine]. That’s so cool!”

In the video, @ihatetiktokcringie claimed she never knew what the two small slots towards the bottom of the centre console were for.
However, the TikTok viewer demonstrated that items such as parking tickets can easily be fitted, so that drivers do not risk losing it when they leave the car.
Depending on the age of the Fiesta, the slot may be found further down, next to the driving mode and stop-start button.

One viewer wrote: “No way this is actually crazy, never knew that!”
Another noted: “I think it’s for the basic Fiesta only. The higher trim level or newer cars have seat heaters and the engine start/stop buttons there.”
