The Compass 2WD automatic is also likely to be offered in the top-spec Model S trim.
According to a media report, Jeep is gearing up to launch more affordable variants of the Compass automatic this month. The 2-wheel-drive version of the Compass is said to get an automatic option. It is likely to be launched on September 16, 2023.
As per the latest report, Jeep could offer five variants of the Compass 2WD AT, starting with the Longitude trim expected to be offered at an on-road price of Rs 27 lakh.
The Longitude+ variant is likely to get features such as a panoramic sunroof and wireless charging. The SUV will also be available in Limited and Limited Black Shark edition trims.
The Model S will remain the top-spec variant in the Compass line-up. Interestingly, the report mentions that the 2WD automatic option will be available in the top trim as well.
The SUV is also likely to get minor cosmetic updates, including a new grille and alloy wheels. Select dealerships have reportedly started accepting bookings unofficially.
