Seven people were injured in three separate shootings in Denver late Saturday night and early Sunday, with five people shot in a single incident on Market Street, police said.
The three shootings took place less than three hours apart.
Just after 11:20 p.m., the Denver Police Department said in a post on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter, that they were investigating a shooting in the 2000 block of California Street.
According to an update from the police department, the victim, a juvenile male, is expected to survive and no arrests have been made at this time.
An hour later, at 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a second shooting in the 1900 block of Market Street.
Emergency responders transported four victims to the hospital with an unknown extent of injuries and, later Sunday morning, police said they located a fifth victim.
All five people are expected to survive, and no arrests have been made at this time, according to a post from the Denver Police Department.
At 1:10 a.m., officers were on the scene of a third shooting — this time in the 5500 block of Kalispell Street — where one victim, an adult man, was transported to the hospital.
As of 9 a.m. Sunday, Denver police arrested one suspect in connection with the Kalispell Street shooting on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder.
No other information on the shootings was available from Denver police on Sunday morning.
