Demon attacks are the result of nasty humans creating evil forces when they die, according to a psychic medium.
Erin Venn made the remarks after Sharon Osbourne’s son Jack revealed this week that he believes she was attacked by a demon while filming a ghost show at a haunted hotel in the US.
And the spiritualist, who is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, reckons the only way to fend off these demons if you are attacked is to be strong and stay positive – because they feed on fear.

She said the soul of a bad person creates a bad energy which is what haunts people when they pass on, not a ghost.
She added: "When someone has passed away they have trauma which they bring with them. If a person has been bad in life they will feel all the pain they have caused – this puts them in their own form of Hell. When you die, you feel everything that you made others feel – that can be very good or very bad.
"Energy is created by negative reactions and becomes a demonic force." Erin said nice people have a light coloured soul and nasty ones have darker souls and she believes bad spirits are attracted to decent folk, which is why they are terrorised by them.
She said nice people can protect themselves from demonic forces by not being afraid, adding: "Those who have had those experiences [been haunted by a ghost] need to try and strengthen their energy – you have to move it to a place where you can keep all of this out.
"If you think ‘I am brighter than you, leave me alone’ you are not giving that fear energy. As long as you remain positive and on that upper realm it will not be attracted to you."
Sharon became unresponsive during her encounter and was rushed to hospital but doctors found she was in good health after running a series of tests on her including brain scans.
A couple recently found themselves dealing with their very own paranormal activity after seeing a "ghost in white" which left their dog fleeing in terror. The "lurking" ghoul was noted by Victoria Hepworth and partner Joe Shard, the Daily Star reported.
