Full-on Prince Harry feels great responsibility at day out without Meghan

Prince Harry felt a "great sense of responsibility" during an outing without Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex was spotted chatting with celebrity pals at a Los Angeles FC match against Inter Miami on Sunday (September 3) with the Duchess giving the event a miss, despite featuring on the VIP guest list.

Body language expert Inbaal Honigman, speaking on behalf of Slingo, reckons the weight of solo mission left Harry feeling a "great sense of responsibility" without his wife there for support.

"Harry's body language makes it clear that he feels a great sense of responsibility," he said.

"He's quite full-on and doesn't seem to stop for a moment, his eyes always searching around, even when the rest of him is motionless. This tells us that he's extremely alert and ready for any conversation or situation."

Honigman added the outing seemed to be work rather than play for the Prince, who has had to shoulder a number of career hurdles over the past year alongside his ex-Suits star wife.

The pair's lucrative Spotify deal was pulled back in June and rumours followed that their Netflix contract could face the same fate if they didn't step up their output.

The Sussexes even suffered divorce speculation and were rumoured to be "taking time apart" at the start of the summer.

Now it seems the pair are pulling out all the stops to ensure the success of their brand.

"This is a work day, not a day of leisure for the royal pair," Honigman added.

"Harry may appear serious and focused in his dealings with all the different attendants, as if he's there to work rather than enjoy himself, but his strong and stable stance with is feet wide apart, and his confident walk, feet planted firmly with each step, tells us that he's loving the organising aspect of this project.

"Had Meghan been near him, Harry would have likely had to acknowledge her often, which would have been a little harder than just focusing on one person at a time."

Sunday's football match was not the first time the Sussex clan were spotted out and about over the weekend.

The pair were snapped together at a Beyonce concert on Friday, where Meghan danced the night away โ€“ while Harry cut a more solemn figure.

Harry will also give a speech at the WellChild Awards on Thursday (September 7) before jetting off to Dusseldรถrf for the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games on Sunday.

Royal expert Daniela Elser thinks the couple's sudden swathe of public appearances is no accident.

Writing for news.com.au, she said: "Maybe this sudden return to the spotlight has something to do with the coming events of this week which will see the Team Sussex ratchet things up, jiggle all the knobs to 11 and go into overdrive as they find their careers and brand at a serious crossroads.

"Prepare yourself for a lot more of the duke because the former working HRH is about to return to the fore with gusto."
