People who think Lucy Letby might be innocent are sending the baby serial killer fan mail while she rots behind bars.
The Mirror reports members of the Nurse Lucy Letby group on Facebook are sending messages to the former nurse, who was sentenced to life in prison earlier this year.
One member wrote: “I’ve sent my letter off to Lucy”. A second even claimed to have phoned HMP Low Newton in County Durham for advise on how to contact Letby. Another member of the group, who said she was a former NHS nurse, admitted she was "thinking of writing too".

Several controversial theories about Letby have been shared on the group, with some claiming she is innocent. But some members were furious at the fact that letters are being sent to her.
One said: "Are you lot for real? Why would you send a letter to someone who killed seven babies?" Another fuming individual added: "Take time out to write a letter to a child serial murderer… that’s the one."
Letby is currently appealing against her convictions for the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of six others. She was found guilty after a 10-month trial at Manchester Crown Court.
Jury members heard how Letby had injected newborns with air and insulin when working as a neonatal nurse at Countess of Chester Hospital. The jury failed to reach a verdict on six other counts of attempted murder.
A judge will now decide whether Letby is to be retried, with a hearing due to start tomorrow at court.
