Sharon, who has children and grandchildren above ground, admitted they don't approve of her lifestyle. Ross also spoke to an attempted murderer who turned to the sewers when he couldn't find work due to his criminal record.

He warned about the dangers of flooding, saying: "You got to stay on top of the weather or you get washed out. Once I saw a wall of water coming."
When asked about life in the tunnels, he said: "I like it here because you can be anything you want to be, a drug addict or a worker. There is an unwritten law: as long as we are not seen we are good."
The tunnels were also once a hideout for murderer Timmy TJ Weber, who killed his girlfriend and son in 2003.
