A woman was left howling with laughter after she realised her new kitten had a celebrity lookalike.
Jaiden Hughes, who posts on social media under the username @jaidenlhughes, recently adopted a kitten with ginger hair on its head and a white face. But while the feline is adorable — she couldn't help but notice his striking resemblence to a famous ginger.
In a video, which has now gained more than 22,000 likes, Jaiden claimed the kitty looks like musician Ed Sheeran as she showed a photo of her new pet. Over the top of the snap she said: "My new kitten LITTERALLY looks like Ed Sheeran."

She then quipped in the caption "in a past life he played the fiddle in an Irish band" — a reference to lyrics from the 32-year-old's song Galway Girl. TikTok viewers were left howling over the as they took to the comments in agreement.
One user wrote: "That MIGHT be Ed Sheeran." Another added: "I JUST EXPECTED AN ORANGE CAT OH GOD ED SHEERAN."
A third commented: "Okay I wasnt expecting him to look THAT much like him." A fourth wrote: "Ed Sheeran rebirthed as a kitten."
The news comes after Tipping Point viewers were left open-mouthed after a contestant bore "striking similarities" to a rather famous TV star.

As player Lee took on the machine and attempted to bag himself a heap of cash against fellow players Carol and Lydia, fans were left taken aback by his appearance.
Sporting a full head of curly dark hair and a similar build to a certain famous quizmaster, fans quickly compared Lee to Darragh Ennis from ITV gameshow, The Chase. “I’m sorry, I can’t get over Lee’s perm. It reminds me of a certain chaser… #TippingPoint,” said one viewer, followed by a meme of Darragh shooting a thumbs up at the camera.
